Late Era Romans
This is the start of a late era (300-400 AD) Roman Army. All figures are from the excellent Pendraken Late Roman range.
Army overview
Just a small skirmish force so far, and the bases still need finishing.
Infantry
Heavy Infantry shield wall, mainly ARL2 with ARL9 command.
Skirmishers
Mainly ARL5 Slingers, with some ARL6 Infantry, ARL5 Archers and ARL8 Commanders
Light Cavalry
Mainly ARL12, with ARL14 command, mounted 3 to a 40x20 base to give fairly open order units.
Horse Archers
Mainly ARL19 with some commanders from ARL14 (who have the larger shields)
